The goal is to educate and nurture artists and audiences to cultivate interest for the traditional art. This is carried out through creative events such as performances, workshops and talks. Ultimately, Shan Opera focuses on the importance of preserving the traditions of Cantonese Opera while exploring cultural-innovative interventions for Cantonese Opera to remain relevant in our contemporary society.
